Lali`s Guest House and Tea Garden set in a quiet residential area in Harrismith. The house itself is a very beautiful Victorian style and build house. Built in the early 1940s with original oregan pine floors and real grandmas charm it was later-on used as a Missionary house for the pastor of the local Dutch Reformed Church. The Guesthouse is situated at the foot of Platberg in the peaceful town of Harrismith. We offer a safe, peaceful and luxurious midway stop between Johannesburg and Durban.
Your hosts, Fanie and Hanna Kachelhoffer will welcome you to their six bedroom disabled friendly guest house. Guest rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels a kettle a shower a hairdryer and a desk. At the guest house each room has a wardrobe and a private bathroom. Guests at Lalis Guesthouse can enjoy a Full English/Irish or a vegetarian breakfast.
All rooms are elegantly furnished and decorated to enhance the ambiance of the house. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom. Tea coffee rusks hairdryers electric blankets and heaters are provided in every room. TV-channels include M-Net, SABC 1 and 2, E-Tv, Sport and the Movie channels. Three of the rooms open onto our delightful garden where guests can enjoy something mouth-watering and refreshing from our kitchen.

A spacious room with queen bed and full bathroom. A single bed can be added for a child under 12 years of age.
Rural Bliss:
The bay-window room with 2 single beds and a bathroom with a shower.
Playfulness:
A queen bed and an extra-large bath / bath for two are special in this room.
Harvesting:
A spacious room with outside entrance has a queen bed with shower. An extra single bed can be added.
Oasis:
This family unit with outside entrance has two rooms: A room with a queen bed and bathroom with a shower and a small lounge with a daybed which can sleep two persons. The kitchenette has ample sitting space and are equipped with a fridge microwave oven mini braai double plate mine stove toaster sandwich toaster cutlery and utensils.
Eden:
This double room has a queen bed shower and fully equipped kitchen as in Oasis.
